Quan Yin is the Goddess of mercy, compassion and healing.  For over 2000 years (according to Buddhist history) she has been the saviour of all in distress and is a symbol of selfless love.
 
When Quan Yin is invoked during prayer or meditation she is believed to help with suffering and healing (spiritual and physical) by positioning Quan Yin within a room it is said that she will help to create a calm enivironment by dispelling negative influences such as arguments, disruptive issues, disappointment and lack of well being.
 
The female buddha Quan Yin is the universal protector of all children.
